I personally love this as an anime! However, things were different when I read the manga. There were so many scenes that weren't animated and ofc the huge plot twist that came out of nowhere. However, I still love it and I would rate it a 9/10! (But that's just my opinion.)

When I started reading this when it was first translated, I thought it was great. However, I started to lose interest after the boat incident. It seemed like there was a lot of straying off the path of what was going on. I dropped it because it looked like the plot was veering off course. I've watched from the sidelines to see what has been going on and I'm highly disappointed. It could have been 8/10 or 9/10 if it ended earlier.

I love long stories and this one is one of my favorites. Its a combination of Supernatural, Sherlock Holmes, The Alienist, and Artemis Fowel. While it is not for kids under 15/16 years old, it does not have more than one mild sex scene in 29 volumes, and not too many F-words or much nudity.

its so deeply intertwined with pedofilia that even being a beatiful series that has an enjoyable array of arcs- i cant give it positive a review. i cannot stress enough that the sexualization of children with very explicit scenes of their abuse is appaling.

I really like this manga and I love the art. I didn't give ten ou of ten for the characters because Soma and Elizabeth get on my nerves sometimes but each character has a unique personality. I'd definitly recomend this manga, true it does get a bit dark at times but it has hints of humor in it as well plus you never know what's going to happen next.

It was good till around chapter 126.... where there was that huge plot twist. It was kinda dumb. Like the author ran out of ideas so she put that damn plot twist to make it more interesting. But, everything before chapter 126 was gold. The characters are very lovable all having an original personality and past. The story itself is dark and addicting.

After 109 chapters I can say that this is indeed one of my favourite manga. And one reason for that would be the fact that I wasn't bored at all at any point. Every chapter was interesting and I actually read everything at once. The story is interesting, yes, but I'm also most fascinated by the characters. This manga has a lot to offer, at first I thought it was the kind of teenage girl stuff some of the fans made it seem like, but at some point it gets a lot darker than that. I was a bit taken a back, to be honest. Positively, of course.

The story is of Sebastian Michaelis as he works for his young master; a 12 (to 13) year old boy named Ciel Phantomhive. But their is more to this duo then meets the eye, Sebastian is actually a demon that is under contract to Ciel, working for him until the day that he can claim the boy's soul. (I'm stopping their I do not wish to give much away if one has not read it yet.).
